Love’s Music
Long ago foraging in the jungle, I heard music playing itself. The notes flew, mingling with the winds. One note stayed near, swaying, swirling about my head. As it flew, I chased it over hills, valleys, gorges. It stepped into a river. I jumped in.
The river reached the big city. The note climbed out. I followed. It played on.
Some listened, few nodded, most didn’t hear it at all. Until one man stopped to dance to its music. The note rested. I touched the man. We fell in love.
It’s been many lifetimes.
We’re still dancing to that note.

True story — that one!
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”
―Friedrich Nietzsche
This is quite sweet and very romantic. There are words to be enjoy. You gave it a wonderful ending making the reading fun to go through. Good job!
This brought tears to my eyes, Reena. So THAT'S how you met Anurag. ;-)
