Springing color

A little photo gallery from my 'hood

A simple post just to share a few photos from recent hikes and walks here in the Bay Area (California). All photos taken by me on my iPhone. As always I play with the pics, saturating colors etc because no camera can adequately capture what the eye sees.

The rains have washed so much

Colors arrive with a vengeance as if in sympathy with me

Grass and bird wings and leaves and buds

Painting all with life’s stubborn presence

Maybe it’s the chimes that sound in my garden

Maybe it’s the early buds that seek me out

I feel her, see her and hear her in it all

Memories bring their own forbearance.
