Reena, great ponderings and it IS all confusing! All we can do is focus on a few things at a time and figure out the best way to address them (like if hydration is the 'thing' this month, what to do to keep it up? and then if stretching is the thing next month, how to keep that up?) and then hopefully build in lots of great habits! I actually worked with a coach once who taught me the amazingness of 'tiny habits'...I need to revisit mine to see what needs to be adjusted or renewed...thanks for the reminder!!!!
Absolutely Jen!! Tiny is where it's at and I have to remind myself that "something" - no matter how small it is - is always better than nothing, and to celebrate it all ! And what a bonus to hear from you. Happy New Year and I hope you are doing well. Hugs!
Had a good chuckle. Thanks Reena.
Thanks Patrick!
Go beyond superficial and vai attributes
Indeed! That is the essence of the battle :-) Thanks Sanjay.
In my opinion there’s no battle. Even wine tastes better with age
Old is Gold
Reena dear,
I so relate.
The mirror, I have come to hate.
All those little lines,
somehow coming to define,
a self I thought I would never be,
a lady now beyond sixty!
So, I say to this world,
inside I am still a wild girl.
I have earned my wrinkles, drawn from time,
And I shall not begrudge those little lines.
I will be strong, I will be true
And while I may not be young,
I now know how things are done.
Hugs!
So true Darlene! Love it. And more power to you — and girls like us!!
