The quest for love, the travails of a broken heart and the rejuvenation of human spirit - beautifully captured dear Reena. As always love love love your poems/writings. You are a true wordsmith! A joy to read!

Loved your December musings very much, Reena. It requires immense courage to be vulnerable and open ourselves to love. But just as you say it is so much better to burn bright than to fizzle in some safe compromise. Not everyone has the capacity to love back but it will be a shame if I let that change me intrinsically.

Thank you dear Shubhra! How beautifully you’ve captured the idea of not being affected by others’ inability to love back. Thank you for writing to tell me. It means the world. ❤️

Dear Reenaji, so nice to read (and take part in) your expression of love, and to wager in love! It must be in the air for I find myself in a renewed state of gratitude for the precious friends in my life. The part that really got me was:

“ perhaps one day I’ll see the burns

seared more deeply than my bargain

maybe I’ll laugh at my own audacity

of letting this skin not fear the sun”

Nicely done….

Love,

Raj
