Beautiful poem Reena. A lot of meaning in a few words. Cooking means much more than just cutting, chopping, stirring etc. Your poem conveys that beautifully.

I love this poem and the world of meaning in that ladle at the end. I too find that my relationship to the kitchen changes with time, but mine has gone the other direction! 🧌🙈We’ll see what I think when the kids are grown. Loved your well-paced read-aloud!
