I love this little story, Reena, and your comments following it. It really resonated with me as yesterday I left a voice message for my closest high school friend who is dying from ALS. I imagine her with a smile on her face and her thinking about joining her husband who passed away last month. After a good life, leaving it with a smile is good, too.
Oh dear Carolyn -- that's such a beautiful gesture and reminder for what we mustn't forget. You are one of my most admired models for how to live it right. Thank you for being here and for your lovely comment.
Absolutely loved thsi!! "Is there more?" - truly.
Thank you Pragalbha! Yes truly... love always!

I agree with you - quality of life is paramount but death in itself is often not natural.
Indeed! Thanks Marple!
