Reena, this is beautifully rendered and reflects a lot of the feelings I tried to express in my "Spaceman" story in Fault Zone: Detachment. You don't have to leave only a country to have these feelings. It can be a local culture or an area of a country where you were born and raised but which you feel separated from. Thank you.
