Totally agree! - wouldn’t it be great to receive a collection of handwritten letters from friends every morning. Somehow, social media likes and Whatsapp messages just don’t compare.
It's three in the morning, reading (serendipitous find) your essay(?), made me remember the exquisite karen carpenter, looping her "mr postman" in my sleepy head.
This was lovely. I do miss snail mail letters. I love holiday cards since that is the closest thing to receiving a personal letter. I remember loving letters while at sleep away camp more than the camp itself.

Oh how lovely that would be. You are quite right. Now when I receive something handwritten I have a hard time throwing it away!
Thank you reena kapoor...

Thank you for nice writing. 🦋🌻🧘🏻♀️🌌
Thank you so much Mahesh. So glad to hear that.

Thank you so much Carissa! I know exactly what you mean. I have preserved many old letters literally and in my heart. ❤️
Thank you for taking me on this journey…so vivid in sensation & emotion!
So glad to read that. Thank you Anjali for reading my words and telling me!
I still await the daily mail eagerly, Reena. Thank you for your poem!
That’s wonderful. Do you still receive letters in the mail? Or is it just the anticipation for what might arrive?
Thank you Paul for reading and responding.
A bit of both. Besides digital messaging, I correspond with letters and cards, and I often get a response in kind.
It’s really great you’ve persisted with that ! I think I might revive some of it. We did lose something when we lost paper and pen… Thanks Paul!
