This is a great line… “Jamming thick at my fingertips”

Lovely poem, even without knowing the other languages, prior to translating, all the feeling comes through. And the mix is beautiful! I’d love to read more poetry from you that does this. 💫

What a rich beautiful feeling your poem and the contextual write up lends to the mind - reminding and reassuring with a definite air of meaningful positivity to all that we live in a granted way! Absolutely enjoyed this.

Such a refreshing, non-grievance perspective, Reena, and such perspectives as yours do more to create understanding, empathy, and friendship than all the grievance mongering that can be and is mustered. The past is the past that none of us can be held guilty for, but all of us can learn together as friends from the past to build a better future, if we choose good will over the pointing of the finger.

Oh. to be even bilingual. I know a very small amount of Spanish and have been fascinated by the different ways that people express themselves - even within two romance languages. I get some hint of what you mean by spending a lifetime taking advantage of the nuances of each of the languages you have at your disposal.

Enjoyed the lovely mix of Hindi, Urdu, English. What a blessing to have grown up with so many languages!
