This piece is so timely and so ancient. Not much has changed nor will it until we recognize - we can't go back. So, deal with today and make it work.

Yes! Not easy but all one can do if we want agency. Thank you Mark!

I guess all the ancestors are nodding too ...and waiting on someone to break the cycle ...it takes a lot.

Your craft is admirable 💛

"Break the cycle" - yes indeed, the solution to so many of our social ills.

Yes! Thanks so much for that Pragalbha 🙏

A lot of truth here.

And inspiring me to perhaps write some very short fiction of my own.

Good one!! Always trying to find someone else to blame!!

Blame is the aggression inculcating word that autosprings to mind.... I think maybe swapping it for Fate or Happenstance is an improvement. That's rather like the way the Spanish think. Allows one to process the solution without first wasting time on anger, n'est ce pas. Peace, Maurice

That’s a good way Maurice. “Just life” vs “It was done to me…” Thank you!

as "Acceptance" dealing with it becomes a lighter weight, the Grudge shrinks to no more than an anecdote. Peace achieved and a friendship saved.....

:-) Yes, especially parents, grandparents and so on....it never ends :-) Thanks for reading Vanita.
